NEW DELHI — Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday said the Uttar Pradesh state administration cannot disguise the farmers’ misery by running full-page advertisements in newspapers.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the Congress chief for Uttar Pradesh said farmers are the heart and spirit of the nation.

Several questions raised by Priyanka Gandhi

Raising several questions, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra asked the Yogi Adityanath-led ruling BJP government as to what the administration was doing about the free domestic animals.

She also demanded answers about the compensation for crop loss provided by the UP government. The Congress leader raised questions about Sugarcane price, ‘black’ agricultural laws, inflation, and the cost of electricity.
